What to expect?
Due to travel restrictions and Covid19 we have decided to create an online experience where you will get a deeper understanding of how street art in Woodstock started and the impact created while you at home seating in front of your screen or phone, this street art history will state from 2009 until present and a story will be shared via Google meets with visual images by Juma Mkwela, who is the first artist to introduce Woodstock street art walking experience in Cape Town. Your host will also share the art in the streets via Google streets. in this experience you will also learn about the fast change in one of the creative hub of Cape Town, in the end, you will have an opportunity for questions.a link with all the images will also shared to everyone .
The History Of Our Tour.
We have been taking visitors to Cape Town's hidden gems and authentic Street Arts, galleries for the past 10 years. The street art Storytelling Tour has been created by Juma Mkwela who is the founding artist and he had an opportunity to work with many artists from around the World in the creation of Woodstock street art, you will also hear real-life stories of Woodstock community and how artists positively impacted society through art.
